GSUSA Answers Frequently Asked Questions With More Deception
This screen capture shows the Girl Scouts of the USA once again trying to distance itself from WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) in an attempt to deflect criticism. Too bad, every answer they give is false (and all the evidence to the can be found in this website).
October 2011: Whoops, They Did It Again
GSUSA Pushes Politics on Girl Scouts Twice Within the Year
Many of our members have received documents distributed from their Girl Scout councils adamantly denying that GSUSA is involved in politics at all, let alone that it would endorse one party -- or agenda -- over another. Yet, twice now, GSUSA has enthusiastically put its thumb on the scale of balance and chosen to ask its members to support legislation written by Democrats, supporting a liberal progressive agenda.
This is a quote from one such Girl Scout document, "What We Stand For." [emphasis added]
"Political Endorsements: As a not-for-profit organization, the Girl Scouts may take action only on legislation that directly affects the corporate rights, responsibilities, and purposes of Girl Scouting. Individual members may not take action on legislation or participate in any political activity that supports or opposes a candidate for public office, in their capacities as Girl Scouts... do not advocate one position over another."

Political Action #1:
Global Warming Legislation Pledge
This article broke the news that GSUSA had decided to stand behind Al Gore and Barack Obama (both of whom stand to gain big-time through investments in carbon credit trading) in the call for global-warming political action. As soon as it was discovered, Girl Scouts removed it from its online pledge, but once again, we must ask why GSUSA constantly errs on the side of liberal-progressive activism.

April 2011: You Can Ring Their Bells
GSUSA stands with another pro-abortion organization, Girls Inc. at the NYSE
In case anyone thought GSUSA might want to reconsider aligning themselves with pro-sex, pro-abortion groups, here's a photo opportunity proving they are as comfortable as ever sharing the spotlight with those known to partner with Planned Parenthood for sex ed workshops.
From the Girls Inc. Advocacy Statement: "...girls need and have a right to sensitive, comprehensive sexuality education; convenient, affordable access to safe, effective methods of contraception and protection from disease; medical privacy; and referral to information, counseling, clinical and other services... supportive environments and linkages... for dealing with issues of sexual orientation and gender identity."
March 2011: "Make New Friends" and Dump Old Standards
(Updated 4.26.2011, since this page was posted, GSUSA removed the StayTeen.org link, but we think it is worth remembering that they felt it was OK to link to in the first place.)
Girl Scouts of the USA is rewriting the history of Girl Scouting -- literally. Throw away your badge books and make way for their new standards of pro-sex, pro-abortion advocacy and liberal, socialist political swayings. They are actually in the process of REPLACING all the books and RETIRING patches they deem "outdated." If their new patch is any indication of what to expect, they should have an entire army of radical, liberal, free-love girls ready to serve the United Nations within a decade.
New Girl Scout Patch is Gateway to Sexy Friends
What can we say? Things have gotten worse. The new, GSUSA Global Action patch for Senior Girl Scouts had links to two dubious websites prior to April 7:
- Millenium Development Goals, a United Nations campaign that, under the cover of fighting poverty, includes explicit sex education for children, "gender equality," and "reproductive rights" including abortion on demand (with emphasis on the safety of the mother without any regard for the baby within).
- StayTeen.org, a site designed especially for girls who are sexually active. GSUSA provided a link to this site as a reference to learn about Global Action (as of mid-April they removed this link).
- Planned Parenthood's Teen Talk
- MTV's show, "16 and Pregnant" is a live link on the home page as a web page called "It's Your (Sex) Life"
- Birth Control 101 lists all the available contraceptives, including "emergency contraception" (aka ABORTION)
When we visited, their home page looked like this:
The emphasis of this site is staying a "fun" teenager by preventing pregnancy (Is "fun" a new euphemism for "undiscerning?"). Though there are brief mentions of "waiting," the main message is that using any and all contraception will allow girls to Stay Teens and not mothers (which is most definitely NOT fun, according to them).
MTV, Really?
Have you ever thought of MTV as a paragon of good advice? Well, it is prominently displayed on the home page of StayTeen.org (right next to another link to the contraceptives, in case you missed it at the top):

Recommended Reading on "Questions" Page
Have questions? StayTeen.org has no problem referring you to Planned Parenthood (PP) to, um, "get their help" to find a clinic. They wouldn't happen to refer you to a Planned Parenthood clinic or doctor, would they?
In case you don't notice, we feel compelled to point out that Question 11 would be the perfect place to refer a girl to a pregancy clinic or adoption agency, but that wouldn't be any FUN:
