IMAGINE you have a sister you are supporting. You give her money, you provide her shelter, pay for all her expenses and even ask others to help her out financially when she requests. But she likes to hang around abortionists, global-warming alarmists, radical socialists, gay/lesbian promoters, union activists and pro-communist organizers; movements you do not support. You could almost understand -- if your sister would openly admit her philosophy -- if she would tell you straight to your face, you could make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to support her anymore. But she vehemently denies her attachment to her friends while she takes your money and meets up with them for weeks in Washington DC, year after year. Every time you write her a check, you wonder how your money is being spent. What do you do?
For those of us at HonestGirlScouts.com, this is exactly the way we feel about Girl Scouts of the USA. Every year, GSUSA serves up teenage Girl Scout delegates to attend indoctrinating workshops. In 2011, the theme is REVOLUTION. In 2010, it was SEXUAL RIGHTS.
And every year, our sister, GSUSA asks us to sell more cookies, donate to Thinking Day (Juliette Lowe World Friendship Fund), promote the Family Giving campaign for donations and asks us to include GSUSA in our wills and trusts. Meanwhile, she has completely changed our curricula so we all have to buy new books, and we have to buy more books, and the new Journey books have the same focus and rhetoric as her radical friends. Who is this sister, really? What is her future? If her friends are any indication, perhaps we should see what we find.
2011 UNITED NATIONS Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 55)
This year's theme for the 55th CSW is "Youth Revolutions." It wouldn't make us so uneasy if WAGGGS weren't a Full Member (International Planned Parenthood Federation being an Associate Member) of a Socialist website. Note that the UNICEF workshop will "strategize for gender equality." If they are building upon last year's theme of "sexual rights," it will dovetail nicely with Planned Parenthood's goal of sexualizing "young people" (ages 10-24) early, often and with gusto, apparently.

"Agenda for Girls Stand Up! Girls as leaders for future youth revolutions to be trained in downtown Manhattan Sunday
New York, NY, February 17, 2011: Girl advocates for change across the world are being trained in New York City this coming Sunday.
Their “boot camp,” conducted by the Working Group on Girls (WGG) at Pace University’s downtown Manhattan campus, will orient them to advocacy techniques, and to topical issues like increasing women’s participation in science and technology and discrimination and violence against girl children.
Over 275 girls and young women between the ages of 16 and 25 from nearly 20 countries will be present, having come to New York to participate in next week’s meetings of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). In the short run, Sunday’s training sessions are to orient and prepare them for those meetings; the longer run tactic is to “strategize for gender equality.”
The participants represent almost 45 non-governmental organizations ranging from the Plan International to Girls Learn International and Girl Scouts of the USA.
Around the world, youth-led rights advocacy efforts are gaining prominence and Sunday’s sessions, from 8 AM to 5 PM, will teach advocacy skills and introduce key CSW themes [LAST YEAR, IT WAS SEXUAL RIGHTS], presented by prominent girls’ rights advocates [WHO MIGHT THOSE BE?]."

If you read "Happy, Healthy and Hot," the language and phraseology used is unmistakeably parroted in this posting. The six WAGGGS delegates shown in the photo below were only some of the Girl Scouts participating in this event. Planned Parenthood Launches ‘Social Change Initiative’ to Teach Parents How to Educate Children About Sex, Including Masturbation, Homosexuality

(CNSNews.com) – The Planned Parenthood Federation of America is signaling its intention to dominate the national sex education agenda.
Specifically, Planned Parenthood's Web site announced the group is preparing to launch a nationwide “social change initiative” to end the “stigma and shame about sex” in American culture.
The project aims to teach parents and caregivers how to educate children about sex -- from birth. And it recommends telling teenagers about masturbation, oral sex and “where to go for help to prepare to be sexually active.”
The “Real Life. Real Talk” [GIRL SCOUTS IS A SPONSOR OF THIS PROGRAM] initiative began as a pilot program in communities in Maine, New York, Connecticut, and Arizona between 2004 and 2008, according to a report about the initiative that is for sale on the project’s Web site.
Now Planned Parenthood is preparing to launch the program nationwide, with funding from donors and private groups, including The Ford Foundation.

Girl Scouts of the USA claims we have no political agenda, yet the friends we keep have no problem expressing theirs. Planned Parenthood is surrounded by radical socialist Progressives and spends quite a lot of time and money supporting their causes. Every time GSUSA/WAGGGS stands side-by-side with Planned Parenthood locally, regionally, nationally or internationally, we give a tip of the hat and a wink to their philosophies, don't we?
